Apply.Build vs Heroku

Apply.Build vs Heroku — what you actually pay
Heroku pricing based on the Standard-2X dyno ($50/mo), the smallest dyno with 1 GiB memory. Prices converted at approximate USD/EUR rates. Last checked March 2026.
Pricing that stays predictable
Heroku's base price looks similar, but production apps quickly accumulate add-on costs for logging, metrics, SSL, and database backups. A typical small app can reach $50-100/month once you add the tooling you actually need.
Apply.Build charges EUR 5 per resource package. WAF, vulnerability scanning, metrics, logs, SSL, and custom domains are included in every plan — including the free tier.
Security without the add-on tax
Heroku does not include a web application firewall or dependency scanning on standard plans. On Apply.Build, every app is protected by an always-on WAF, runs in an isolated micro-VM, and has its dependencies scanned continuously.
Your data stays in Europe
Heroku runs on AWS in the US (and optionally EU for Enterprise customers). Apply.Build hosts all data in Finland under EU jurisdiction, governed by GDPR. There is no US-only tier — EU hosting is the default for every plan.
